Why Choose Our Anxiety, OCD, and CBT Center

Numerous therapy practices market themselves as anxiety and OCD specialists, often including “cognitive behavioral therapy” in their services. However, most have only completed one or two brief trainings in these subjects. Consequently, they lack the in-depth knowledge and training needed to help patients and families with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, trichotillomania, excoriation, and traumatic stress disorders in overcoming these conditions and achieving the desired changes. Moreover, some therapists rely on talk therapy and other approaches that, while helpful, may prove insufficient in helping clients break free from these conditions.

In contrast, at our Center, clients and families can trust that they will receive exceptional care from anxiety and OCD specialists and CBT specialists with genuine expertise in the field. Our clinicians draw upon exceptionally strong training in psychological science and proven cognitive-behavioral treatments, including expertise in anxiety therapy, social anxiety therapy, therapy for performance anxieties (public speaking, writing, shy bladder syndrome, and selective mutism), OCD therapy, trichotillomania and excoriation therapy (addressing compulsive hair-pulling, skin-picking, nail-biting, cheek biting, and other body-focused repetitive behaviors), PTSD therapy, and therapy for depression. All of our specialists also undergo ongoing education and training in cutting-edge theories and techniques, ensuring our clients benefit from the most effective, up-to-date approaches to treatment.

Whether it’s adults, teens, or kids, coupled with our rich experience working with hundreds of clients facing similar challenges, we not only understand clients’ problems but also possess the knowledge and skills to guide them toward the changes they desire. At our center, we are committed to providing high-quality care that often goes beyond mere therapy – it is a transformative journey towards lasting positive change.

Drawing upon their exceptional training and extensive experience with numerous clients facing similar challenges, our clinicians are proficient in multiple forms of cognitive behavioral therapies (CBTs), including cognitive therapy, exposure therapies and exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and prolonged exposure therapy (PE), among others. Consequently, this diverse expertise enables us to offer an individually tailored approach, utilizing effective treatment strategies, skills, and models specifically designed to best support you.

Furthermore, our team is dedicated to crafting an approach that is uniquely suited to your specific problem areas, symptoms, and needs, ensuring that therapy is personalized to the particular patient. Additionally, this includes devising a clear treatment plan with agreed-upon goals, and importantly, regular progress assessments to ensure a transparent path to recovery. Our structured, guided, and intentional CBT approach complements our commitment to providing support and compassionate care, distinguishing it from less structured forms of therapy. Consequently, we strive not only to enhance your understanding and insight into yourself and the challenges you face but also to empower you with the cognitive and behavioral skills and strategies needed for tangible life changes and transformations. Therefore, by choosing our center for anxiety, OCD, and CBT, you benefit from a treatment plan that is as unique as you are, supported by our therapists’ comprehensive training in cutting-edge therapeutic techniques.

Therefore, by choosing our center for anxiety, OCD, and CBT, you benefit from a treatment plan that is both guided and supportive and is as unique as you are, supported by our therapists’ comprehensive training in cutting-edge therapeutic techniques.

At our center, we prioritize responsiveness to the unique needs of our clients and their families. Importantly, our team believes in fostering collaborative relationships, actively engaging with families and other therapists, psychiatrists, and additional care providers. Moreover, we understand the importance of open communication and teamwork, working together to provide comprehensive support.

Therefore, our approach to anxiety therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy aims to foster a supportive network that contributes to the overall well-being of our clients and their families. This ensures that communication channels remain open and effective, facilitating a cohesive and integrated treatment experience.

As anxiety, OCD, and CBT specialists, we understand that embarking on the therapeutic journey can be challenging and effortful, yet importantly, the rewards are often quite significant. With this in mind, our CBT therapists work collaboratively with clients and families to articulate goals, translate motivation into action, and carefully track progress. In so doing, your anxiety therapist or OCD therapist will aim to provide thoughtful guidance and unwavering support.

Clients who have worked with our team of cbt therapists and psychologists have reported significant transformations. These have included:

  • Substantial reductions in symptoms (including physical symptoms, fears, worries, obsessions, compulsive behaviors, negative beliefs, and depression).
  • Increased confidence and adeptness in addressing anxieties, worries, fears, anxious behaviors, and compulsions.
  • Improved ability to manage emotions such as anxiety, fear, sadness, shame, guilt, and frustration.
  • Enhancements in relationships, social life, job performance, and everyday life.
  • Increased productivity and overall enhancement in life satisfaction.
