Center for Anxiety, OCD, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Expert Anxiety, OCD, and Trauma Therapy for Adults, Teens, and Children at our Philadelphia-Based Center

A Philadelphia-Based Psychology Practice Specializing in CBT, ERP, and ACT for Anxiety, OCD, and Trauma

We are an independent, Philadelphia-based specialty psychology practice providing evidence-based treatment across the lifespan for anxiety-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive and compulsive patterns and disorders, and PTSD and other trauma-related conditions. We work with adults, teens, and children, as well as providing therapy for parents, partners, and other loved ones affected by these conditions, including specialized, evidence-based care for children and teens with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. Our clinical work is grounded in sophisticated, structured, flexible, and deeply individualized applications of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), with a deep commitment to helping patients build the skills, perspective, and psychological flexibility needed to break free — and stay free — from patterns that keep them stuck and narrow their lives, and to live freer, fuller, more engaged, and meaningful lives.

Expert Therapists and Psychologists for Anxiety, OCD, and Trauma Serving the Philadelphia Area and Clients Nationwide

In-Person, Telehealth, and Hybrid Therapy in the Philadelphia Area

The anxiety therapists, OCD therapists, and psychologists at our Center provide evidence-based care for adults, teens, and children through in-person sessions at our Philadelphia office, teletherapy by video, or a hybrid combination of both depending on clinical fit and patient needs. We are a specialty psychology practice based in Philadelphia, offering both office-based and telehealth treatment for anxiety, OCD, and trauma across the lifespan. Our clinical work is grounded in sophisticated, structured, and individualized applications of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help patients break free from patterns of anxiety, OCD, and trauma that create suffering, develop the insight, skills, and psychological flexibility needed for lasting change, and reclaim fuller, more meaningful, and more engaged lives.

We provide evidence-based anxiety therapy, OCD therapy, and trauma therapy through secure telehealth for adults, teens, and children located throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware, as well as most U.S. states where our clinicians are licensed to practice. Teletherapy may be an excellent option for patients who are unable to attend in-person sessions at our Philadelphia office or who benefit from a fully remote or hybrid treatment approach. For families specifically seeking care for children and teens with anxiety, OCD, or trauma — where delivered through video telehealth, primarily in person, or via a thoughtfully structured hybrid approach — you can learn more on our website.

Our clinicians specialize in the telehealth delivery of sophisticated, structured, and individualized applications of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and related evidence-based approaches, with careful attention to clinical fit, collaboration, and long-term change. We are currently able to work with residents of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

Care is available through primarily in-person sessions at our Philadelphia office, telehealth sessions by secure video, or a thoughtfully structured combination of in-person and telehealth care, depending on clinical fit, patient needs, and clinician availability. In addition to serving patients locally in the Philadelphia area, members of our team are authorized to provide telehealth and hybrid care to patients across Pennsylvania, the surrounding region, and many other U.S. states where they are permitted to practice.

Therapy for Trauma, PTSD, and Mood-Related Conditions

We provide specialized treatment for adults, teens, and children, tailoring care flexibly to individual and developmental needs across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. In addition to the concerns listed above, our clinicians regularly work with anxiety-, OCD-, and trauma-related patterns that may be less widely recognized or that cut across diagnostic categories, including performance anxieties, health- and illness-related anxiety, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and other overlapping anxiety, compulsive, and trauma-related difficulties. We also frequently support parents seeking help for anxious children and teens, including when concerns span multiple diagnoses or interfere with school, relationships, or daily life. Care draws on evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and related methods, thoughtfully tailored to each individual’s needs.

Treatment is individualized, intentional, and guided by a clear case formulation and treatment plan, with agreed-upon goals and regular progress monitoring. Our structured approach emphasizes both skill-building and real-world application, while remaining responsive to each patient’s needs, values, and circumstances.

Importantly, structure does not mean rigidity. Our work is supportive, collaborative, and compassionate, while remaining focused on helping patients develop the insight, skills, and flexibility needed for meaningful, lasting change. This balance distinguishes our approach from less structured or purely supportive forms of therapy, and reflects our commitment to delivering care that is both evidence-based and deeply attuned to the individual.

Drawing upon their exceptional training and extensive experience with numerous clients facing similar challenges, our clinicians are proficient in multiple forms of cognitive behavioral therapies (CBTs), including cognitive therapy, exposure therapies and exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and prolonged exposure therapy (PE), among others. Consequently, this diverse expertise enables us to offer an individually tailored approach, utilizing effective treatment strategies, skills, and models specifically designed to best support you.

Furthermore, our team is dedicated to crafting an approach that is uniquely suited to your specific problem areas, symptoms, and needs, ensuring that therapy is personalized to the particular patient. Additionally, this includes devising a clear treatment plan with agreed-upon goals, and importantly, regular progress assessments to ensure a transparent path to recovery. Our structured, guided, and intentional CBT approach complements our commitment to providing support and compassionate care, distinguishing it from less structured forms of therapy. Consequently, we strive not only to enhance your understanding and insight into yourself and the challenges you face but also to empower you with the cognitive and behavioral skills and strategies needed for tangible life changes and transformations. Therefore, by choosing our center for anxiety, OCD, and CBT, you benefit from a treatment plan that is as unique as you are, supported by our therapists’ comprehensive training in cutting-edge therapeutic techniques.

Moreover, we understand the importance of open communication and teamwork, working together to provide comprehensive support.

Therefore, our approach to anxiety therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy aims to foster a supportive network that contributes to the overall well-being of our clients and their families. This ensures that communication channels remain open and effective, facilitating a cohesive and integrated treatment experience.

As a specialty practice focused on anxiety, OCD, and trauma, we place strong emphasis on tracking progress and translating evidence-based treatment into real-world change. As anxiety, OCD, and CBT specialists, we understand that embarking on the therapeutic journey can be challenging and effortful, yet importantly, the rewards are often quite significant. With this in mind, our CBT therapists work collaboratively with clients and families to articulate goals, translate motivation into action, and carefully track progress. In so doing, your anxiety therapist or OCD therapist will aim to provide thoughtful guidance and unwavering support.

We work with adults, teens, and children, and provide care both to individuals and to parents, partners, and other loved ones—either as part of a collaborative treatment process or through therapy focused specifically on their own needs and concerns.
